MARSHALL, Texas - Adding to their winning streak against Howard Payne University, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team would pick up a 7-2 win over the Yellow Jackets. The win evens ETBU's record at 3-3 overall.

The No. 1 and No. 3 doubles tandems would start the match with two wins. John Herr and Joseph Salinas would take an 8-3 victory at No. 1 while Dalton Barron and Noah Smistad shutout their opposition at No. 3. All but one of the singles matches would be an ETBU sweep victory in two sets. Salinas (No. 1; 6-2, 6-2), Herr (No. 2; 6-1, 6-1), and Smistad (No. 4; 6-0, 6-1) would go 2-0 on the day. Adam Morris (No. 3) and Matthew Fuhr each had scores of 6-0 and 6-1 in their match wins.

ETBU will hit the road this weekend when they take on the Comets of UT Dallas this Saturday at 12:00 PM.
