WILLS POINT, Texas - Taking all but one match, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team delivered an 8-1 win over Schreiner University on Friday afternoon. ETBU is now 2-1 overall.

Elisa Kendall and Maddi Davis started it off with an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. Ashley Schenck and Cassidy Wilcoxson paired up for an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles while Kelsey Roberts and Faith Kirk earned an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Kendall would follow with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles. Wilcoxson (No. 3; 6-4, 6-1), and Roberts (No. 4; 3-6, 6-1, 13-6) picked up their second wins of the day in the number three and number four singles matches. Syvoney Ybarra won in a tiebreaker (6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (8)) at No. 5 singles while Corrine Hall (6-0, 6-4) took the win at No. 6 singles.

ETBU will host Concordia University Texas on Saturday tomorrow at 9:00 AM.
