MARSHALL, Texas – Trying to knock off undefeated Southwestern University, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team would drop their match, 8-1. ETBU is now 4-5 overall.

John Herr and Joseph Salinas would record the only point winning No. 1 doubles, 8-6. Herr (No. 2 singles) and Noah Smistad (No. 4 singles) would each record the closest singles matches at 6-3, 6-1. Randal Lemmon (No. 5) and Dalton Barron (No. 6) would battle to 6-1, 6-2 losses in their matches.

The Tigers will remain home for next Saturday's match against Belhaven University, which will start at 10:00 AM.
