MARSHALL, Texas – Facing one of the better teams in the region, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team couldn't get by Southwestern University falling, 9-0. ETBU is now 6-4.

Elisa Kendall/Maddi Davis were the only doubles team (No. 1) to pick up points in set falling, 8-3. Kendall would then have the closest singles match at No. 1 falling 6-4, 6-3. Gabbi Hammerbach would also have two straight sets where she would take a game falling, 6-1, 6-1.

ETBU will be home next Saturday when they will take on Belhaven University at 10:00 AM.
