CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - Never dropping a match in Arkansas, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team swept the University of Ozarks 9-0. ETBU is now 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the American Southwest Conference East Division.

Both No. 1 (Elisa Kendall/Maddi Davis; 8-6) and No. 2 (Ashley Schenck/Cassidy Wilcoxson; 8-7) doubles would have tight battles for wins while Kelsey Roberts and Faith Kirk cruised to an easy 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles. Kendall would follow her doubles win with straight 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 1 singles. Roberts (No. 3; 6-3, 6-0), Corrine Hall (No. 4; 6-1, 6-0), and Gabbi Hamerbach (No. 6; 6-0, 6-1) would have a shutout set in their sweeps. Schenck (No. 2; 6-4, 6-1) and Syvoney Ybarra (No. 6; 6-3, 6-3) would round out the wins for ETBU.

ETBU is home this Saturday against Southwestern University at 3:30 PM.
