MARSHALL, Texas – Facing off against the #19 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, East Texas Baptist University played well but couldn't come up with the win dropping the 2-0 contest. ETBU is now 6-4-1 overall and 0-2 in the American Southwest Confernence.
 
The Tigers defended hard throughout the match, but conceded twice in the loss. The Cru first struck in the 39th minute, when a bottom right corner shot found the back of the net. The match went to the break at 1-0.
 
The second half was much the same, with ETBU defending well but conceding once. A high right-hand corner shot in the 56th minute would put the score where it would remain until the end, 2-0 in favor of the Crusaders.
 
ETBU will travel to Abilene on Thursday to face the Hardin-Simmons University at 5:00 p.m.
