JACKSON, Miss. – In the final game of the American Southwest Conference series, #4 East Texas Baptist University fell to #18 Belhaven University, 9-0. ETBU is now 1-2 on the year and 1-2 in the ASC.
 
ETBU had four hits in the game as Marin Musicant, Tauryn Cummings, Amber Thibodeaux, and Alison Carrion all had one hit. Hannah Kelley received the loss going 0.2 innings giving up five earned runs. Kassidy Cravey followed with 0.1 innings of work as three earned runs were scored. Toni Tamborello finished the final three innings allowing just one run and two hits with three strikeouts.
 
BU scored their nine runs in the first two innings for the momentum. ETBU had a hit in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.
 
ETBU will be at home on Friday, February 11, with game one at 5:00 p.m.
