KERRVILLE, Texas – Headed back to central Texas, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team fell to Schreiner University, 8-1. ETBU is now 1-6 on the year.
 
ETBU had two close matches in doubles as Gabbi Hammerbach/Jayde Childress (#1) and Faith Kirk and Andrea Alvarez (#2) both lost 8-4 to their opponents. In singles play, Childress won at #2, 6-3, 6-4, for the only point of the match. Corrine Hall lost in a tiebreaker at #5 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 0-6.
 
ETBU will take on Concordia University Texas on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
