LONGVIEW, Texas – In their final American Southwest Conference East Division match of the year, the East Texas Baptist University men's tennis team fell to LeTourneau University, 9-0. ETBU is now 5-12 and 1-3 in the ASC East.
 
LETU came away with a 3-0 lead in doubles sweeping through matches one, two, and three. The closest match came at number one with Christian Dubec and Slade Austin falling, 8-4.
 
Austin then had the best singles match at number two falling a tiebreaker. He won set one, 6-3, but then lost 4-6, and then 5-6 in the tiebreaker. Abraham Silva came close in number six singles losing, 1-6, 5-7.
 
ETBU has one more match on the year next weekend against the University of St. Thomas-Houston.
