MARSHALL, Texas – Heading to their first-ever post-season tournament, the East Texas Baptist University acrobatics and tumbling program will participate in the 2023 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association Division III Tournament in Belton, Texas. Seven teams will be competing in the tournament from Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Maryland and Texas April 13-15.
 
ETBU will start the tournament as the number four seed taking on the number three seed Concordia Wisconsin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. There will be three meets in one day featuring the six teams. At 1:30 p.m. number two Trine University (IN) will face number five seed Adrian College (MI). Number one seed Mary Hardin-Baylor will take on number six Stevenson (MD) at 5:00 p.m.
 
There will also be event finals that ETBU will have individual participants in on Saturday.
 
ETBU enters the meet with a 2-4 record as the two wins are the most in program history in a season.
