Ashton Davis-Leveille

Ashton Leveille returns for her second stint as head coach of the ETBU Acrobatics and Tumbling program after being away for a year.

"We are ecstatic to welcome Ashton Davis-Leveille back to ETBU and the Tiger Family as the Head Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach.  Ashton's dedication and commitment to excellence and her ability to use athletics to impact the lives of student-athletes is the perfect fit for ETBU.   I am looking forward to the future of the acrobatics and tumbling program under Coach Davis-Leveille's leadership and am confident in her abilities to lead the program because of her passion and desire to create a competitive, Christian-centered program for the years to come," Senior Vice President for Campus Life Ryan Erwin said.

Davis-Leveille was the head coach for the 2023 season, guiding ETBU to three meet wins, which was a program best at that time.  ETBU won their first NCATA Division III Tournament meet over Concordia (Wis.), 240.205 to 237.740, and narrowly missed defeating Trine University in the semi-finals. That season also brought numerous records and the program's first-ever 10.0 in the pyramid.

"I am excited and grateful to return to ETBU to lead the Acrobatics and Tumbling team. Coaching at ETBU is a journey full of growth and accomplishment and I am eager to continue that progress in the upcoming seasons for our program," said Davis-Leveille.

No stranger to competition, Davis-Leveille guided three programs in cheer and competitive cheer at the NCAA Division II level. From 2018 through 2021, she was the head cheer coach at Texas A&M-Kingsville and the assistant competitive cheer coach at Gannon University (Pa.) from 2015 to 2017. Her coaching career started in 2014 as a graduate assistant cheer coach for Cameron University (Okla.).

Her time at Gannon University brought national accolades to the program, placing twice in the top five. The 2016 season led to a fifth-place finish at the NCA Cheerleading Nationals (Division II) while receiving both a fourth and fifth-place finish in 2017.

Outside of athletics, she has taught in the Hallsville and the Rockport Fulton School District. She was the Hallsville Employee of the Month during the 2021-22 year and the Teacher of the Year in 2020-21 at Rockport Fulton Middle School.

She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and attends First Baptist Church in Hallsville. She is married to former ETBU baseball coach Dillon Leveille.
