MS | CTX's Overpowers ETBU, 2-0

ROUND ROCK, Texas – With little offensive production, East Texas Baptist University didn't find the shots to keep up with Concordia University Texas in a 2-0 American Southwest Conference men's soccer loss. ETBU is now 1-3-4 on the year and 0-2-0 in the ASC.
 
ETBU took just four shot in the match with one on goal compared to 26 shots from Concordia Texas and 13 on goal. Aram Mijares, Garrett Garvin, Lucas Arreguin, and Leonardo Esteban all had a shot as Esteban put his on goal. Anthony Lozada collected nine saves.
 
Concordia Texas scored just before the first half ended at 44:20. The Tornado defense didn't allow any ETBU shots in the half and took 19 overall. In the second half, ETBU produced all four of their shots but Concordia Texas added seven more shots and a goal in the 66th minute for a 2-0 lead.
 
ETBU will host McMurry University on Thursday, October 5, at 7:30 p.m. in ASC play.
