MARSHALL, Texas—After a tie at halftime, the University of Texas Dallas scored four goals to give ETBU a 5-2 loss. ETBU ended the regular season at 8-9-1. It will next play in the ASC Tournament on Thursday.
 
ETBU had 12 shots with six on goal and two goals. UTD took 35 shots, recording 14 on goal and five goals. Joel Garcia took five shots with three on goal, adding a goal and an assist. Edwin Jimenez, Junior Lopez, and Dylan Garcia all had two shots. Lopez had two shots on goal, and Joshua Daley had the other. Joel Garcia and Lopez recorded the goals.
 
UTD struck first in the 31^st minute, but three minutes later, ETBU tied it up on a Joel Garcia goal on a penalty kick. In the first half, ETBU had five shots, with UTD taking 13, as the two were tied at halftime, 1-1.
 
The Comets went on the offensive in the second half, taking 22 shots to ETBU's seven. ETBU, though, took the quick lead in the 52^nd minute on a Lopez goal assisted by Garcia, 2-1. UTD tied up the match in the 57^th minute at two. They then scored three goals in five minutes in the 68^th, 70^th, and 73^rd minutes for the 5-2 lead and win.
 
ETBU will play in the ASC Tournament on Thursday in Abilene against Hardin-Simmons University.
