ETBU scored in the first four innings to run-rule CTX as Tristen Maddox went 3-of-3 with one RBI. Hannah Benavides struck out five batters in the shutout win allowing just three hits.

Tristen Maddox doubled in the bottom of the first inning, then was brought home by Courtney White to give the Tigers a lead they would not relinquish. White was brought home after a stolen base, an advancement on a fielder's choice, and an error. The bottom of the second saw more offense for the Tigers, with Nadia Almanza walking and being brought home by a Maddox single. ETBU put up three more runs in the third inning, when White scored on a Stum single, then she and Cummings came home from a single by Almanza. The fourth inning was much the same, with Maddox scoring again, this time by a Cummings double. Cummings then reached home after an Emma Bell single and an error to make it 8-0
