Today's recap for the ETBU Men's Basketball TAME trip to Roatan is provided by Freshmen Kody Alexander and Malachi Evans.
"My morning started off reading through our devotional booklet for the week and my Bible. After that, we got ready for our second game against the Honduran National Team. I'm happy we had the chance to play a national team and also had a chance to get the win in the second game. It was a fun experience and one I will definitely remember for a lifetime. After that we boarded the ferry to head back to Roatan from the mainland. We were warned that the ferry ride back is much worse in terms of seasickness, and it definitely was. A few of my teammates, and even one coach, got seasick from how much the waves were rocking the boat.
When we finally made it back to Roatan, we ate some delicious food from our hosts, and had a good debrief session with the team. In all I would say we as a team had a great morning and a great night, and my highlight of the day would be playing with my teammates and fighting to the end the win the game against the national team. It is hard to believe that we only have one day left of the trip, but God has done some incredible things throughout this trip and I know he will continue to work through our lives even when we return home."
