Grace Shurley started the scoring with a breakaway goal in the seventh minute. On her goal, Garcia intercepted a pass at midfield, turned, and delivered a strike to Shurley, who broke behind the defense and moved around the Ladies' Goalkeeper Kaniyah Hill for the score. That was ETBU's only score in the half, as they took eight shots with five on goal.
Just over seven minutes into the second half, Medellin possessed the ball after a tackle and delivered a through-ball to Ramos, who stopped in the box, took control of the ball back after a deflection, and rifled it past Hill to make it 2-0. Ramos' brace came in the 74
th minute when
Makayla Baxter clocked a ball out of the defensive third of the field and found Ramos, who beat the Centenary backline to the ball, and netted a one-on-one shot to the lower-left corner for a 3-0 lead. ETBU had six shots after that, with three on goal, and took 14 in the half for their first win of the year.
