Jack Pease has been named the American Southwest Conference Player of the Week. It is his first award this season and the third for ETBU.
Pease averaged 15 points, 4.67 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals as ETBU defeated both Lyon College and Salisbury University. He posted double figures in all three games with 20 points vs. Salisbury.
ETBU is now 6-12 and has won three of its last four games as it starts ASC play this week against Howard Payne.

Pease averaged 15 points, 4.67 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in a 2-1 week. He scored in double figures in all three games with 13 vs. Lyon College, 12 vs. #17 CNU, and 20 vs. Salisbury. In the win over Lyon College, he helped start a 12-7 run over five minutes towards the end of the game with a steal and layup to give ETBU the 52-50 lead at 6:07. He then hit a three-pointer at 2:09 to secure a four-point lead, 59-55, and made a free throw at 16 seconds and two seconds left in the game to seal the win. He produced his fourth 20+ point game of the year with 20 points in the win over Salisbury (Md.), collecting seven assists and making two three-pointers, shooting .643 from the floor. For the two games in Virginia, he shot 53 percent and hit 42 percent of his three-pointers. In the win over Salisbury, he had the go-ahead three-pointer, 17-15, at 9:43 as ETBU was on a 15-5 run over five minutes. With the game tied at 50 in the second half with 8:55 to go, he gave ETBU the lead, again, at 7:58 on a jumper, scoring six straight points, also breaking a tie at 52 (5:20). In the close loss to #17 CNU, he added 12 points, scoring 10 in the first half, with four assists.
