WTN | ETBU Is Downed in First Home Meet

MARSHALL, Texas – In their first home match of the year, East Texas Baptist University took on a tough NAIA program in Texas Wesleyan University falling, 7-0. ETBU is now 0-2.

In doubles play, Kristyn Dunn and Jazmyne Ford-Schartner won the no. 2 match, 7-5, but ETBU fell in no. 1, 6-0, and no. 3, 6-1, matches.

Ford-Schartner had the closest singles match at no. 5 as she fell, 4-6, 6-7.

ETBU travels to Tennessee this weekend to face Covenant College (Ga.) and host Sewanee University.
