ORLANDO, Fla. – Seeing their toughest competition of the year, East Texas Baptist University went 1-3 in their Spring Break trip to Florida. Three of the four teams ETBU faced made the NCAA Tournament last year with two nationally ranked. ETBU earned a 5-2 win over Connecticut College and is not 7-6 on the year.
 
ETBU opened the week with a 4-3 loss to Ohio Northern who was is the reigning Ohio Athletic Conference champions and made the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Tigers then had a hard fought, 5-2, loss to #35 Skidmore on Tuesday followed by their hardest match of the year that night as they fell to #3 Case Western Reserve, 7-0. On Wednesday, ETBU earned a 5-2 win over Connecticut College before their final match vs. Augustana (SD) was cancelled due to weather on Thursday.
