ORLANDO, Fla. – Heading east to Florida for Spring Break, the East Texas Baptist University women's tennis team went 2-2 this week at the USTA National Campus. ETBU earned wins over Otterbein, 7-0, and Connecticut College, 4-3, and fell to Ohio Northern, 6-1, and NCAA Division I Creighton, 7-0.
 
In the 4-3 win over Connecticut College, ETBU won two tiebreaking matches for the win. Monique Ybarra won a tiebreaker match at no. 1, 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (10-7) and Jazmyne Ford-Schartner took her tiebreaking match, 7-6 (7-4), 5-7, 7-6 (10-2), for the 4-3 win.
