SEGUIN, Texas – Tying the program record for wins in a season, East Texas Baptist University earned over 200 points in their win against Texas Lutheran University for their fourth victory. ETBU scored 213.45 points to Texas Lutheran's 109.05 moving to 4-3 on the year. ETBU collected one 9.0+ and six 8.0+ scores at the meet.
 
Opening the meet in Compulsory, ETBU scored 25.10 points with an 8.35 in the Pyramid Heat. They added 21.95 points in the Acro Event with an 8.40 in the 5-Element. The Pyramid event was their best of the meet with 26.60 points. They had a 9.05 in the Synchronized Heat, an 8.85 in the Open Heat, and an 8.70 in the Inversion as they took a 73.65 to 60.40 halftime lead over TLU.
 
The Toss Event was the closest of all with TLU as ETBU won, 23.45 points to 21.50. ETBU's top score came in the 450 Salto with an 8.35. They scored 42.45 points in the Tumbling Event as the Aerial Pass brought the best score at 8.05 ETBU ended the meet with the Team Event scoring 73.90 points to finish with 213.45 points.
 
ETBU will host the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday, March 26, at 6:00 p.m.
