Jeremy Roman enters his second season as an assistant coach under Brandon Curran. This past summer he was promoted to the top assistant coach and now helps more with recruiting, daily practices, scouting, and travel.
Prior to coming to ETBU, Roman spent four years as an assistant coach at Mesilla Valley Christian School in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where they won the class 2A state championship twice. He served as head coach from 2014-2016.
During his tenure, he led his team to a 65-22 record, two district championships, three state tournament appearances, and won the 2015 3A State Championship.
Roman was also the district ‘Coach of the Year’ for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons where he coached eight First-Team All-State selections, three Second-Team All-State selections, and the 2015 Class 3A Player of the Year.
Before coaching, Roman played for York College during the 2008-2009 season. He graduated high school from Mesilla Valley Christian School in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he was the class 2A Player of the Year in 2008.
Roman is a newlywed married to Jenna in September 2017 as they reside in Marshall, Texas.
