Game 1 – HSU 4, ETBU 3
Neither team could find home plate until the bottom of the second inning when the Cowboys scored on a triple, double, and an error to take their lead 3-0. In the top of the third, after Dylan Sumpter singled and advanced to third on a throwing error followed by a walk to Tyler Bates, Doud singled Sumpter in and ETBU was on the board down 3-1. ETBU had a chance to add more, but could not get the hit to bring in more runs.
After a scoreless fourth, ETBU tied the game at three when Doud doubled to left field scoring Bates. Combs followed that with a single to left that scoring Doud and tied the game at three. The Cowboys though would score the eventual game winner when Caleb Jacques reached on a fielder's choice, advanced to second on a wild pitch, and scored on a single by Zack de Luna in the sixth. ETBU had the tying run on in the seventh before the final out was made.
Game 2 – ETBU 10, HSU 4
After two scoreless frames, the Tigers would get runs on an RBI double by Doud, a two run homer by Compton, and a RBI single by Warbington. That would put ETBU ahead 4-0. But HSU would answer with two runs in the frame cutting the lead to 4-2. Combs and Warbington made sure ETBU's lead increased as they would hit an RBI single and double respectfully to give them a 7-2 edge. But HSU kept the game close 7-4 with two runs in the bottom half of the inning.
Doud would pick up another RBI in the fifth on a single and ETBU's lead grew to 8-4. Boudreaux would hold HSU down in the sixth and seventh innings while ETBU added two more runs as Combs singled and Warbington delivered a sacrifice fly to left field and it was 10-4. That would be the deciding factor as ETBU hung on behind the arm of Boudreaux.
