ETBU then sealed their win with three third period goals. Soderstrom (16:31) would see the Tigers up 2-0 with an even strength goal. VanGemerden then netted a power play at 11:11 for a 3-0 lead. The Tigers then secured the 4-0 lead as Knott (5:56) would earn his second of the game. Fitzgerald and ETBU's defense would then hold on to the shutout win.
ETBU will next face off with Dallas Baptist University on November 8-9 at 8:30 PM and 2:00 PM respectively.
