One thing that head coach
Brandon Curran expressed about his current team was their ability to overcome adversity throughout the season to reach his third straight conference tournament appearance at the helm. "I think they've had to show a lot of toughness, resilience, and adaptability. They've had to step up. Last year, things just were kind of smooth where we didn't have any struggles or injuries. This year, we've had consistent changes to the lineup from injuries, guys being hurt, banged up, sick, and all sorts of things coming up. It's been an incredible learning experience for all of us. For me as a coach, I think we look completely different now, even stylistically offensively and defensively then what we did at the start of the year. Our guys have been incredibly adaptable and resilient. It's been incredibly good for them."

th and battled all the way until they fell 98-95. Finishing the season with an average of 93.2 ppg, the Crusaders are led by Sam Moore, who averages 20.1 ppg and grabs 7.0 rpg. Brian Long (18.0 ppg), Demarius Cress (14.9 ppg, 75 assists), LaKendric Hyson (11.8 ppg), and Byrale Carter (10.2 ppg) average double figures for the team.
