MARSHALL, Texas – After almost two months off, the East Texas Baptist University hockey team returns to action this week with four straight games starting on Wednesday night. They will open this week with their last two home games of the season against the University of Texas-El Paso before going to the University of North Texas on Thursday and Friday. - Saw their 17-game winning streak end with a 5-4 loss to TAMU. Matt Duncan (two assists), Davis Van Gemerden (three assists) and Timothy Zittel each scored two goals in the series with TAMU. Alex Domas recorded 26 saves in the 5-4 loss while Tyler Fitzgerald stopped 25 shots in the 3-3 tie
- Last defeated UTEP on Feb. 2, 2018 (4-3). Alec Shea and Riley Knott would have a goal in the game while Nick Buzzuto got the win in net
- Undefeated all-time against UNT in 12 meetings
- Last swept the Eagles on the weekend of Sept. 27-28. Outscored them 35-1 with wins of 21-0 and 14-1. Van Gemerden, Knott, and Zittel had six goals during the series while Skyler Spiller recorded five goals and Ryan Gruszka added four
