MARSHALL, Texas – After compiling their best record in program history, the East Texas Baptist University hockey team will look to extend their incredible season participating in the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference tournament this weekend. As the #1 team from the north division, ETBU receives a first round bye and will play the winner of the University of Texas and Texas A&M in the semi-finals on Friday.

- Finished regular season with a 21-3-1 overall record after two losses to the University of Arkansas
- Lost 11-4 and 5-3 to Arkansas. Skyler Spiller finished with three goals in the series
- Finished first overall in the TCHC North Division by going undefeated at 12-0-0.
- Lead the TCHC with 8.16 goals per game
- Conceded the second fewest goals per game with 2.52
- Have the highest power play percentage with 80.0%

- Huston Svondrk was TAMU's top scorer with 46 points with 23 goals and assists
- Have the highest penalty kill percentage in the TCHC with 93.2%
- Brydon Gillilan is fourth in the TCHC with a 2.50 GAA
- 3-1 against UT, including victories in the last two meetings against the Longhorns
TEXAS
- Finished third in the TCHC South Division with an 8-10 record, including a 4-6 division record
- Fifth in the TCHC in goals per game (4.50)
- Fourth in the TCHC in power play goals (65), penalty kills (56), and penalty kill percentage (85.7%)
- Sixth in the TCHC in power play percentage (24.6%)
- Nicolas Samadian leads the Longhorns in points (39), and goals (20).
- Ethan Chun leads UT in assists with 20.
- Sean Triece leads the TCHC with a 1.12 GAA.
- Defeated TAMU 4-1 in the Cotton Bowl.
