PREVIEW | @ETBU_Baseball Starts ASC Play vs. 2019 ASC Champion CTX

MARSHALL, Texas - Splitting their midweek doubleheader with LeTourneau, the East Texas Baptist University baseball team will begin American Southwest Conference play with a road trip to Austin, Texas, to take on Concordia University Texas on Saturday and Sunday. ETBU won one game vs. the Tornados last season.

* Hit seven homers vs. LETU from Charles Gordon (G1), Jake Miller (G1), Will Kelley (G1), Zachary McAdams (G1), Cameron Neel (G1), Austin Barry (G2), and Christopher Robinson (G2).
* Won Game 1, 9-0. Colson Sledge led with three RBI while Gordon recorded two hits. Jacob Sherman earned the win with three scoreless relief innings and five strikeouts.
* Lost Game 2, 10-7. Robinson had three RBI while Barry had two. Sayers Collins took the loss with 0.1 innings allowing two runs.
* Carson Wilson leads ETBU with a .533 batting average, eight hits, and six RBI.
* Took one of three from CTX last season. The win was a 1-0 win with Corbin pitching a complete game shutout striking out 13 batters and allowing three hits.
