BELTON, Texas — After a postponed start from Saturday, the East Texas Baptist University Tigers fell 4-0 to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders on Sunday afternoon in American Southwest Conference women's soccer action. The loss drops ETBU to 5-5-3 overall and 1-4-0 in the ASC.
ETBU managed eight shots on the day, with three on goal.
Madeline Rumachik had an early chance in the 15th minute, followed by a shot from Ryan McLain in the 43rd minute as the Tigers trailed 1-0 at halftime.
Mallory Duncan recorded ETBU's final shot on goal in the 54th minute with the score at 2-0.
Goalkeeper Cadence Tishler turned in a career-high 16 saves facing 20 shots on goal and 25 overall shots. UMHB scored goals in the 28

ETBU will close out the regular season next Saturday hosting Howard Payne University at 5:00 p.m.
