AUSTIN, Texas – Coming on strong in the second half, the East Texas Baptist University's comeback came up short, 3-1, to Concordia Texas on Tuesday night. ETBU is now 5-4-0.
Junior Lopez netted the lone goal for the Tigers in the 65th minute, marking his third straight game with a goal, which was assisted by
Aram Mijares. They took seven shots in the second half with three on goal with two back-to-back in the 82
nd and 83
rd minutes by William Alejandro and
Dawson Lopez.
ETBU recorded 14 total shots, eight of which were on target, but were unable to capitalize on their chances.

Ryan Lord finished the match with one save giving up three goals.
ETBU will look to bounce back Thursday night when they travel to Georgetown, Texas to face Southwestern University. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
