TYLER, Texas - Taking part in the University of Texas Tyler Ice Breaker Classic, the East Texas Baptist University men's track and field team had five Top 10 finishes. This would include two second place finishes by the relay teams.

Aidan Berwise and Detaveon Lewis would place second as part of both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams. Along with Spencer Williams, Berwise and Caster Brandon helped Lewis lead the 4x100m relay team to second place just .27 seconds off of the top spot by Dallas Baptist University. Berwise and Lewis then teamed up with Rangel Miller and Carlos Torres-Izquierdo for a second place finish in the 4x400 meter event (3:22.86), which also finished behind DBU. On the field side, Anthony Gipson would come in eighth in the long jump at 11.78m.
